The National Drought Mitigation Center is looking for an energetic lead communicator to write about the activities of drought planners across the country and around the world, and to let people know about the work of the center. The ideal candidate can write both hard news and features and is comfortable with science and data-driven stories.
Bonus points if you can take decent pictures, like to geek out about water policy, or are into data visualization. In addition to writing news and editing publications, you’ll be producing text for our website, social media, and various fact sheets and brochures as needed.
