Internship will focus on assisting with weekly Friday LIVE program on Nebraska Public Radio. Position will have the opportunity to work on a variety of responsibilities such as:
> Research guests for Friday LIVE and provide background to host.
> Acquire and edit photos of guests for the webcast and for social media.
> Take photos at live shows for social media.
> Wrangle and stage manage guests and occasional live music performers during Friday LIVE, also managing changes in guests, getting name spellings and informing host.
> Create social media posts for Friday LIVE and the Friday LIVE Extra podcast, there are up to four posts each week.
> Create generic promos using audio from previous shows to ensure we have some to augment weekly promos.
> Find and help create fresh music beds for use between show segments.
Must be available to work Wednesdays between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, and Fridays between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm (noon). Approximately 10 hours per week.
