The paid communications intern position is mostly print and digital design/production, with some writing and research work.
It includes:
> Print and digital design work for the Center for Great Plains Studies and the Great Plains Art Museum including signage, brochures, postcards, social media graphics, and more
> Research and development of your own graphics/infographics on Great Plains topics
> Blog writing
> Beginning-level marketing development
> Event production for exhibition openings, lectures, and conferences
Applicants should have basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and have good writing and research skills. The internship has the option to extend to the fall semester. Applicants should submit a design example, cover letter, and a resume. Social media, video production experience helpful, but not required.
Hours: Students will work with the Assistant Director to work between 5-10 hours a week during the semester. This internship has the option to extend through the summer.
