The application deadline is March 31.
The application deadline is March 31.

Dear Graduate Students,

Are you attending an academic conference or creative competition or performance in the coming semester? The Graduate Student Assembly Travel Award Program (GTAP) committee is here to help. Applications are open for graduate students who are presenting in the coming semester and have not previously received a travel award. You are eligible to receive a GTAP grant once during your academic career.

To apply, follow these steps:

The application for the GSA Travel Awards Program can be accessed on NUgrant, https://nugrant.unl.edu/system/login, at least 60 days prior to the application deadline. Login using your Canvas username and password.
From among Open Internal Competitions, select GSA Travel Awards Program Application.

Answer the questions about your project and your conference and upload your short essay. For guidance, applicants may consult the sample application that contains a commentary from the reviewer's perspective.

When you have finished your application, NUGrant will send a notification to your academic adviser. He or she must approve your application before it will be considered. The GTAP team does NOT monitor this step, so it is up to you to ensure that your adviser has approved the application by the deadline, below.

The application deadline is March 31.

Good luck and we look forward to reading your applications,

Your GTAP Committee
