University of Nebraska Dance Marathon (UNDM) is currently looking for students to join their miracle-making marketing team. For those who haven't heard of Dance Marathon, here's the gist: UNDM is a student-run, nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness for Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha. Every February, the organization's year-long efforts culminate with a 12-hour celebration: HuskerThon. At HuskerThon, hundreds of university students come together as one to dance for those who can't.
UNDM's marketing team is responsible for maintaining the external views and public reputation of the organization. This involves forming relationships with local media sources, creating campaigns to propel the nonprofit's efforts and using social media to communicate UNDM's core goals and values.
