Social Coordinator - Bailey Lauerman (Omaha, NE)

The social coordinator will assist the BLPR team in executing client social media strategies. Working alongside a PR Strategist, you’ll execute, monitor, manage and report on client’s social media and influencer strategies.

Social coordinator responsibilities include:
> Supports department with day-to-day execution of client and department social media activities
> Community management, monitoring, and reporting across clients’ various social channels
> Supports paid social strategy, execution, optimizations and reporting across clients’ various social channels
> Compiles pre- and post-campaign insights and analysis in regular reports to internal and external clients
> Works collaboratively with the strategy/planning, client engagement, and creative teams to define and actively steward social media strategy for our clients
> Works independently to meet deadlines while monitoring budgets and projects
> Identifies up-and-coming social media trends and approaches, keeping both internal agency teams and clients at the forefront of this arena
> Proactively brings innovate social strategies and ideas to the BLPR team on behalf of clients
> Pursues opportunities for professional development

Qualifications:
> Applicant must have previous experience in managing and monitoring social media platforms on behalf of a brand or organization
> Social content writing and reporting experience preferred, along with paid social media experience
> Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit bringing new ideas to the team and clients
> Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
> Sharp attention to detail
> Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and team needs; managing multiple deadlines and projects
> Ability to understand data and apply insights and learnings
> Familiarity with social media or influencer software (Grin, Netbase, SproutSocial, etc.) in addition to standard applications like Excel and Google Slides
> Ability to collaborate across disciplines – paid media, social media, digital, creative, strategy, etc.

Experience:
> 1 – 2 years experience in a social media role; agency experience preferred
> Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
