The Graphic Design Associate collaborates with the Lied Center’s Graphics Specialist to design marketing materials promoting the Lied Center’s Season and other events. Design projects will include print and electronic materials, direct mail, posters, displays, brochures, advertisements, emails and more. The Graphic Design Associate also supports design projects for multiple Lied Center departments including Education, Development, and updates to the Lied Center’s website.
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field plus one year of strong portfolio design work required; equivalent education/experience considered. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator necessary. Excellent typography and visual layout skills essential. Must have ability to translate creative direction into effective design. Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines required.
Prefer 3 years of professional graphic design experience. Experience with email management software and web content management desirable. Experience with photography helpful. Strong collaboration skills preferred. Understanding of arts/entertainment marketing helpful.
