NET, Nebraska's PBS & NPR Stations, is looking to hire a Social Media Student Worker. This is a paid position located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus.
Get hands-on experience with how organizations use social media to market, while working at a student-friendly environment. Work with professional tools and learn business strategies for increasing engagement that you can list on your resume when you graduate. All this while being employed by an organization that is looking to enrich the lives and engage the minds of your fellow Nebraskans.
DUTIES: Schedule social media posts, including localizing suggested posts from PBS, NPR and other program providers; identify available media resources with cleared rights for use on social media; help create and maintain a calendar of relevant dates for marketing opportunities; monitor and research trending topics for social media posts and Google Ad creation; help in the creation of Google Ads; assist in collecting and analyzing data for monthly reports; other duties as assigned.
The position would be 10-20 hours a week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
