Due to a pending retirement in early 2020, the Nebraska Rural Radio Association is seeking applications for a General Manager. The Nebraska Rural Radio Association consists of 10 stations across the state, anchored by flagship KRVN in Lexington, a 50,000 watt AM.
Experience:
The successful applicant should have a proven track record of management experience and have a thorough understanding of FCC rules and regulations. Experience with new media considered a plus. Ag background preferred.
Requirements:
He/she will work closely with station managers and sales managers to develop budgets as well as strategies for the future. The Nebraska Rural Radio Association is the only farmer and rancher owned radio group in the country. The General Manager reports directly to a board of directors.
