Simple Strat is looking for a creative and motivated graphic design intern to join the team! You will be responsible for art production on multiple digital marketing campaigns, assisting the team on design projects, and designing in-house marketing assets for blogs, social media, and web under the direction and guidance of the Director of Visual Strategy.
We’re looking for a creative mind who is eager to learn, is efficient in the Adobe CC programs, and who can show us examples of their design skills. Simple Strat provides an opportunity for hands-on experience working in an agency environment, which includes managing multiple campaigns for multiple clients, art direction and strategy, and design production.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Strategize and collaborate with team on design concepts for marketing campaigns.
> Design assets for digital campaigns such as social media, blogs, newsletters, and content offers.
> Work closely with Director of Visual Strategy to assist with larger-scale design campaigns.
> Collaborate with the Video Production Manager to assist with visual direction and on-screen graphics.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Current college student majoring in graphic design
> Strong portfolio displaying a variety of original design projects (digital, print, branding, etc.)
> Efficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, primarily: Illustrator, PhotoShop, and InDesign
> Experience in or basic knowledge of WordPress
> Ability to receive and process constructive feedback
> Curious and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
> Fast-learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> Highly-organized with time management and project management skills
> Strong attention to detail

This is a part-time role with flexible hours. Total length of internship will vary based on student’s schedule and academic requirements. Pay: $10/hour.
