April 11 Webinar a "How-To" on Using the UNL Marketplace for Extension Materials

On July 1, Extension will be shifting sales of all of its publications to Marketplace.unl.edu. (Publications will no longer be available through CPOW or by calling the warehouse.) Marketplace.unl.edu offers a variety of UNL storefronts, including ones for Extension, 4-H, Pesticide Education, the Lied and the Dairy Store. Our clients will be able to shop 24/7 and use features similar to those available on many online stores. They can order printed or downloadable materials or register for events. To learn more about what it offers and how you can use it, we'll be hosting a webinar April 11 from 2-3 p.m. CST at at https://connect.unl.edu/marketplace/.

Topics will include a progress update on the Extension storefront, how products are listed on the marketplace, how to use the site, the return policy, and copyright of extension materials. Throughout the winter, extension staff met with department heads to determine which extension publications should be offered on the Marketplace and which should be recycled. We have received final responses from many departments and are still waiting for a few so we can move forward and have all publications listed by July 1. Audio for the webinar will be through your computer speakers and questions can be placed in the chat box.
