Local libraries offer potential partnerships for technology training

There’s a great education partner waiting for you. Libraries in communities across Nebraska are participating in Library Broadband Builds Nebraska Communities Project*. Through this project, computer equipment and high speed internet access are expanding at participating libraries. To help realize the full value of these new capabilities, libraries are providing training for their customers.

Holly Woldt, Information Technology Support Manager, with the Nebraska Library Commission, reports they are eager to continue and expand these educational outreach opportunities with UNL Extension efforts.

If this sounds like an opportunity for your area, contact your local library; Connie Hancock, Extension Educator, chancock1@unl.edu; or Woldt at holly.woldt@nebraska.gov.

Working together, community libraries and Extension have an opportunity to expand connections and share information.
