Great Plains Leadership Institute (GPLI), formerly Great Plains Public Health Leadership Institute (GPPHLI) is a very comprehensive and empowering one-year leadership course with amazing modules and assessments, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Change Style Indicator, Leadership Circle Profile, and coaching. There are some great speakers and trainers, and a huge network of alumni who get together once a year during the end and beginning of a class.

Please feel free to distribute it among your contacts. There are partial scholarships available for folks from Region VII: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas (MINK).

We are excited to be in contact with this collective group of change makers and leaders for the public’s health! Here are updates and requests for you:

The Great Plains Leadership Institute is designed for emerging, mid-level and senior leaders from the Great Plains Region (Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and more) who play essential roles in keeping communities healthy. Scholars come from academia, governmental public health, insurance companies, community health centers, civic and elected positions, community-based organizations, the business community, and more.
