Congratulations are in order!
In October, the student recruitment team had set a goal to collect 1, 583 new student contacts by May 1, 2014. As of December 5, 2013 we have already met our total goal for the year with the collection of 2,016 new contacts. Your hard work and dedication to student recruitment has certainly paid off. This excitement gives us all a reason to celebrate. On Thursday, December 19th, we are inviting your local office to celebrate the meeting of our contact goal. Please bring treats to share with your colleagues and then share your celebrations with us on our UNL Extension Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/UNLExtension1?fref=ts&ref=br_tf) or on twitter, using hashtag #winningforthefuture.
Other recruitment updates:
* You can report your recruitment accomplishments in Activity Insight in a couple of different ways. It may go under one of your goals/accomplishments. Another option is under "Service". Click the University tab and there is a drop down box that says "Recruiter". It could go there as well.
* Save the dates – April 24 & 24. We will again be hosting an Extension Recruitment training on campus. We'll begin at noon on Thursday and wrap up after lunch on Friday. This will be open to all Extension faculty who are interested in student recruitment and enhancing their skills in this area. More details to come.
