Student Engagement Update

Extension had a very successful recruitment cycle this past year, here are some updates.

After meeting all recruitment goals, it is once again time to establish new goals for the new season that is approaching, summer! This summer we challenge the Extension system to connect with a total of 1,000 students through your summer programming. The district that collects the most information cards, will get to “pie” the student recruitment representative of the district with the least collected cards during the State Fair. Just a little friendly competition amongst everyone, to make it interesting.

Additionally, the student recruitment team wants to make sure we are recognizing those who are doing student recruitment activities. Nominate your peers for student recruitment recognition at http://4h.unl.edu/recruiting. Submissions will be evaluated on a quarterly basis and an outstanding participant will be chosen. This nominee will get to choose from a variety of prizes, to help bring a bigger UNL presence to their community.

SAVE THE DATE!
The dates for the 2015 Student Recruitment Training have been set. Mark your calendars for April 29th and 30th, 2015 in Lincoln. We hope to see you all there.
