eXtension Creates New User Communities

eXtension has established several new user communities around the following new technologies; Big Data (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_data), Unmanned Aerial Systems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unmanned_aerial_vehicle) and Wearable Technology (http://mashable.com/category/wearable-tech/). If you are interested in these technologies and the discussions occurring throughout the Cooperative Extension System as to their promise and application you may want to consider joining.

Also, a Google Apps for CES group has been organized to help people discover the potential use of Google Apps within the CES system. They will look at not only Google Apps, but examples of how they can or are being used within the CES system.

● Blogger site – Google Apps for Cooperative Extension http://cesgoogleapps.blogspot.com/

You have the opportunity to use many of the Google Apps by signing in with your eXtensionID. In order to do that, you will need to know your eXtensionID (found in the People eXtension app – http://people.extension.org) and your password you use in eXtension. Detailed instructions can be seen on our short video eXtHelp – Using your eXtensionID to Access with Google Apps [Video] 2:31 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpHhhnV2fGI&feature=youtu.be).
