Raising Nebraska will have its grand opening on Friday, August 22nd during the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 Nebraska State Fair. We are delighted that Beth Janning, formerly in Adams County has accepted the role as the onsite Extension Educator for Raising Nebraska. We are excited to showcase the science of agriculture along with the importance of Nebraska agriculture in feeding the world to fair-goers as well as youth and adult groups in this year-round, interactive exhibit! Join us to experience the technology behind variable rate irrigation, walk along the 50-ft map of Nebraska so get a sense of the state's elevation change, and learn about where your food comes from at the digital dining table.
