The Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Centers Community of Practice (Leaders Jill Heemstra and Rick Koelsch) was named Outstanding Community of Practice during the eXtension National CoP Workshop held in Louisville, KY, recently. Other UNL members of the CoP are Leslie Johnson and Rick Stowell. Congratulations to the team for their excellent efforts with this CoP!
At the Joint American Dairy Science and American Society of Animal Science annual meetings in New Orleans held last week, Jeff Keown received the American Dairy Science Association’s DeLaval Dairy Extension Award, and Rick Rasby received the American Society of Animal Science’s Extension Award. Congratulations to Jeff and Rick for their recent honors!
