New Extension Publications Website

As you know, Nebraska Extension and the University of Nebraska Press have formed a new partnership for the production and distribution of extension publications. Extension faculty will continue to develop research-based, peer reviewed publications and products, while the Journals Management and Publishing Services department of University Press will provide support services related to the production, print and electronic delivery of the documents.

One of the more visible results of the partnership—this time with the Digital Asset Management & IT department of University Press—is the launch of a new Nebraska Extension Publications website – http://extensionpubs.unl.edu – which goes live today. Immediately our free publications, i.e., NebGuides, many Extension Circulars, and a number of other publications, will be available. In the near future, for-sale publications will be integrated into the new site, as well. At that time, we will be sharing information with you on ordering processes.

Please note that because this is a new site, existing links to publications will be redirected to the main page of the new site, i.e., http://extensionpubs.unl.edu. For those maintaining websites who choose to include links to specific publications, be advised you will need to update such links to include new addresses.

We are excited about this partnership with University of Nebraska Press and the potential to provide users enhanced services and new features. If you have questions or comments please feel free to contact Michael Riese or Dan Cotton.
