APPLY SOON: Diversity & Inclusion Issue Corps Opportunity

Advance Diversity & Inclusion in Your Community and Region

Diversity and Inclusion have been major concerns in our nation for many decades now. In recent years, they have become increasingly pressing issues as our nation’s population has become ever more diverse.

eXtension’s new Diversity & Inclusion Issue Corps offers Extension professionals an opportunity to design innovative projects in collaboration with peers from across the nation and receive guidance and support from expert “key informants.”

The Issue Corps experience brings together a number of project teams from around the country who are focused on developing new ways of addressing a pressing issue--in this case, Diversity & Inclusion--in each team’s specific community of service.

Do you or your team have a new concept for developing a Diversity & Inclusion project or program for your community? Submit a proposal for your concept and join the Diversity & Inclusion Issue Corps.

Deadline for proposals is December 5, 2016.

Diversity & Inclusion Corps activities begin in January 2017, leading up to an intense group session “Designathon” event in February in Cincinnati, OH.
