Educational sessions planned for April 10-14 on University’s policies, procedures, and practices for safety and security

Educational sessions are planned for research and extension staff in April.

Representatives from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Police Department and the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance will be travelling to meet with University Research Centers and Extension personnel from April 10-14. Stops are planned at the West Central Research and Extension Center (WCREC) on Tuesday afternoon, the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) on Wednesday morning, and the Panhandle Research and Extension Center on Thursday morning.

The representatives will be providing outreach and education on the University’s policies, procedures and practices for safety and security; particularly in the areas of emergency management and continuity of operations, threat assessment, personal and operations safety, ADA and Title IX issues.

These sessions will be open to research and extension staff in each area. To obtain more information please contact:
