Nebraska Extension's "2018 Emergency Prepared" badge.

Nebraska Extension and UNL’s Office of Emergency Preparedness and Planning are proud to recognize 10 county Extension offices for their efforts to complete emergency action plans:

-Cedar County
-Cuming County
-Dodge County
-Hall County
-Lancaster County
-Nuckolls County
-Otoe County
-Platte County
-Thayer County
-Thurston County

By going through the emergency action plan process, these counties identified shelter-in-place locations, outlined evacuation procedures, created office maps, and compiled staff contact lists.

It’s not too late! Emergency action plans are still being accepted. All county offices are encouraged to put together a local plan. The template is available for download here: https://unl.box.com/s/tbjqc56uh20inaaja0u7qn1rl8xealb4
