High School Financial Planning Program Training

The High School Financial Planning Program is a seven unit personal finance curriculum available at no cost from the National Endowment for Financial Education. This course of study can be integrated effectively into a variety of classes such as economics, mathematics, business education, social studies, family and consumer science, vocational education, agribusiness, and, of course, personal finance.

There will be training for teachers and other interested persons on the National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®) High School Financial Planning Program® (HSFPP) at two different locations and dates in 2012.

Friday, March 30, 2012: Mammel Hall, UNO Pacific Campus, 6708 Pine Street, Omaha, NE, from 9 AM until noon

Monday, April 23, 2012: University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension in Buffalo County, 1400 E. 34th St. (Fairgrounds), Kearney, NE from 10 AM until 2 PM (lunch is on your own)

All participants need to order their Instructor’s Manual, Data CD, and Information Kit at the following website as soon as possible: http://hsfpp.nefe.org/instructors .You will need to register as a new user which sometimes takes 5-10 business days and then it takes approximately two weeks to have materials shipped to you once you go online and place your order.
