What's Happening with the Library on East Campus?

Preparations for updating the C. Y. Thompson Library (CYT) building have begun, as part of the revitalization of East Campus. The building closed to the public the end of Spring Semester 2019. The print collections have moved to the Library Depository Retrieval Facility (LDRF) on the East Campus Loop, and the Food Industry Complex. Hours for the LDRF Reading Room this summer are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Materials in the collections will be available through Delivery/ Interlibrary Loan. Delivery/ Interlibrary Loan items requested for CYT delivery will be available for pick up at the LDRF. Most items found in the UNL Libraries catalog can be delivered within 24 hours of submitting a Delivery/ Interlibrary Loan request for the item
During the summer, items on reserve for C.Y. Thompson Library will be available in the Reading Room of the LDRF. There is limited parking at the LDRF, but parking is available nearby on the street.
