Placzek to serve on inaugural EBSCO Publishing legal studies advisory board

Professor Sandra Placzek will serve on the inaugural EBSCO Publishing legal studies advisory board. Placzek will be one of a list of key volunteers who will contribute product and direction ideas in the areas of academic research, archive needs, and other legal studies related endeavors on the newly created board.

EBSCO Publishing maintains several dedicated advisory boards made up of librarians from around the world, representing institutions such as the University of Chicago, Dartmouth College, University of Maryland, Brown University and more. Its members are involved with state-wide projects in the U.S. for academic libraries such as OhioLINK, Illinois Digital Academic Libraries along with several European countries and across Africa, Australian and Asia. The legal studies advisory board will be comprised predominantly of members representing academic institutions in North America.

EBSCO provides online databases to Academic, Medical, K-12, Public Library, Corporate and Government entities with more than 375 databases and more than 350,000 e-books.
