Schutz Spoke at American Agricultural Law Symposium and at Farm to Table Conference

Professor Schutz spoke at the American Agricultural Law Association's annual symposium in Charleston, South Carolina, on October 22nd. As a plenary speaker, he provided an update on environmental law issues affecting agriculture to a crowd of about 300 attorneys and students.

Professor Schutz also spoke at Texas A&M School of Law on October 30th. He was invited to speak as part of a symposium entitled, Farm to Table: Agricultural Law in the Era of Sustainability. Schutz spoke on his experience as a facilitator with the Republican River Water Sustainability Task Force. His general take is that sustainability efforts should begin by addressing deep normative questions about the relationship between the present and the future.
