While it is easy for College of Law students to find an open parking spot, it is not as easy to find a free parking spot. To park on University property (including the student lot immediately south of the College of Law) you will need to purchase a parking permit. You can find out the bottom line on the cost of a parking permit at http://parking.unl.edu/permits/cost.shtml. (Note: we recommend you purchase a 9-month commuter student permit for the academic year. If you end up taking summer classes or working for a professor, a summer permit can be purchased). To purchase your permit you can order it online at http://parking.unl.edu/purchase-parking-permit or go to the Parking Office located on City Campus at 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A. If you order online, you still have to stop by the Parking Office to pick up your permit. Word to the wise: avoid the crowds and lines by picking up your parking permit before the week of orientation!
