Teams of students traveled to Columbia, Missouri and Laramie, Wyoming recently to compete in the ABA Arbitration and the Region XI National Moot Court regional competitions.
Competing against Drake University in the Arbitration competition were the teams of Kate Gatewood, Andy Hanquist, Zoe Verboon and Nema Koohmaraie and Aasim Cheema, Jared Olson, Kelsey Dawson, and Barbara Masilko who competed against the University of Iowa.
In the Moot Court competition, the teams of Allison Peetz, Ben Herbers, and Daniel Russell competed against University of Phoenix and Heather McDonald, Cassidy Ellis and Joel Fulton competed against the University of Wyoming.
Overall, both teams performed very well with good showings.
