Pizza and Science

February 25
12:00 p.m.
Hamann Auditorium

Come and learn about Empirical Legal Studies at UNL and have lunch with Professors Richard Wiener, Brian Bornstein, and Eve Brank!

Empirical Legal Studies asks questions about law and answers them with social science investigations. Studies include experiments, field observations, and analyses of naturally occurring databases (e.g., Court Reports and Legislative Records).

This event will feature an informal discussion with faculty members at UNL who do this work. We will include a brief discussion of some of the courses offered at UNL that examine law from an empirical point of view, including Empirical Legal Studies, Law and Behavioral Science, Eyewitness Identification, Juries, Elderly Law, and Legal Decision Making. There will be time for questions, conversation, and some brief discussion of topics.

All our welcome.
Pick up a food ticket from Patty in the Dean’s office by Thursday, February 21st for the pizza! Bring your own drink!
