The American Bar Association Section of Family Law is pleased to present its Howard C. Schwab Memorial Essay Contest.
This contest is held annually to encourage interest in the field of family law, encourage innovative thought in family law, and provide an opportunity for recognition and publication in the scholarly journal Family Law Quarterly.
Applicants may submit an essay on any aspect of family law and are encouraged to write on subjects of national interest. However, if the law in one state reflects a significant development or trend, that too could be an appropriate subject for an entry. With the vast scope of family law, the possibilities are endless.
IF YOU WIN:
Your work could be published in the American Bar Association Section of Family Law’s scholarly journal, Family Law Quarterly and/or the Section’s website.
Your Dean will be notified of your achievement.
You’ll receive a certificate of recognition, and a one-year complimentary membership to the ABA Section of Family Law.
You’ll also be invited to attend the Annual Awards Luncheon at our Annual Meeting in the summer.
Essays must be received by April 26, 2013.
Fill out an entry form by April 12th to receive an entry number.
