College of Law Scholarships

The John M. Gradwohl-Nebraska Council of School Attorneys Scholarship Fund was established by the Nebraska Council of School Attorneys to recognize Prof. Gradwohl for his many contributions to the organization and improvement of the practice of school law in Nebraska. The Harold I. Mosher Scholarship was established by the friends of Harold I. Mosher, a 1962 graduate of the College of Law, to recognize Mr. Mosher on the occasion of his retirement after 31 years with the office of the Nebraska Attorney General. Criteria for these scholarships include scholastic ability and financial need. Preference shall be given to students with a demonstrated interest in education/school law and to students who are former public school teachers or administrators. Applications are available in the bins outside of the Dean�s Office and must be submitted to me by June 1.

The Todd A. Morrison International Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships to College of Law students who have lived outside of the United States for three or four years. A scholarship application is available in the bins outside the Dean�s Office and must be submitted to me by June 1.

The Theodore C. Sorensen Fellowship Fund was established in 1991 by Theodore C. Sorensen, a 1951 graduate of the College of Law. The Fellowship Fund awards scholarships up to the amount of tuition, fees and books to full-time third year law students who have demonstrated superior academic performance, are native Nebraskans or have graduated from a Nebraska High School, and have demonstrated a commitment to public affairs and to the public service of Nebraska or the United States or at the international level. Applications are available in the bins outside the Dean's Office and must be submitted to me by April 1.
