Larry Johnson, a former high-ranking attorney with the U.N., will be discussing his career with a limited number of students.
This is a great chance to get inside information on what life is like at the U.N. and what you can do to land a career there. It is also an opportunity to network with like-minded students, professors, and a major figure in the world of international law. Pizza will be provided but space is limited to 18 students, so sign up fast!
Mr. Johnson received his B.A. from the University of Nebraska (1967), his J.D. from Harvard Law School (1970) and his M.P.A. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (1971). In his 30+ years of being a lawyer with the U.N., Mr. Johnson has served as the Assistant-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs from 2006-2008; the Legal Advisor of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna (1997-2001); and the Chef de Cabinet, Office of the President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague (2003-2005).
