Public Interest Law Fair & Second Annual Justice Jam

Thursday, March 6
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Main Floor/Student Lounge

The University of Nebraska College of Law Career Services Office would like to invite you to a Public Interest Law Fair. If you have ever considered a career in public interest law, or if you would just like to learn a little more about the opportunities that are available, then this is the event for you!

This is an excellent opportunity to meet with a variety of employers from local non-profits, public interest law firms, and government agencies. Best of all, this networking event is provided by the Law College to you completely free of charge! Many of these employers will have summer and fall employment or externship opportunities available.

Not sure if a career in public interest is right for you? Come enjoy a refreshment while you learn about the wide range of different career paths available for a public interest law student. The two hour event kicks off with a traditional career fair with tables for each visiting employer on the main floor of the law school. After an hour of learning about the variety of opportunities that are available to a public interest law student, please join us downstairs in the student lounge for refreshments and our 2nd Annual Justice Jam, where selected nonprofit organizations will give 5 minute presentations regarding the work of their organization. Many employers who attended the Justice Jam last year hired students for summer positions.

A list of attending employers will be made available soon.

RSVP in ROSCOE by March 4th (date extended).

We look forward to seeing you there!
