Mental Health Week

Mental Health Week
Mental Health Week

March 31 - April 5
Join activities that provide a quality study break and help raise awareness and contribute to the national dialogue among law faculty, staff, and students about stress, depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, substance abuse, and other mental health conditions and impairments that exist among law students.

While students enter law school suffering from clinical stress and depression at a rate that mirrors the national average, the rate sharply increases during the first year of law school. Over the course of that first year of law school and through the duration of their legal education, the rates of law students grappling with mental health problems increase dramatically and carry into their professional careers.

The habits we develop now will remain with us post-law school, so make those habits healthy. Start by participating in one or all of the following activities!
