Meet the 1L Faculty

In other articles of this issue of the Sounding Block, we introduced you to faculty members and administrators who will be teaching/contributing to the FLS and International Perspectives courses. Contracts: There are 2 sections of Contracts. Your Contracts professor will be Professor Bob Works (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/bworks.shtml) or Professor Robert Denicola (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/rdenicola.shtml).

Civil Procedure: Like Contracts, there are 2 sections of Civil Procedure. You will learn about the rules and procedures of various legal processes from Professor Roger Kirst (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/rkirst.shtml) or Professor John Lenich (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/jlenich.shtml).

Property: For the Class of 2017 there are 3 sections of Property. You will be assigned to sections taught by Professor Richard Duncan (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/rduncan.shtml), Professor Colleen Medill (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/cmedill.shtml), or Professor Jessica Shoemaker (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/jshoemaker.shtml).

Torts: Build your knowledge of trespass, false imprisonment, assault and battery and all sorts of torts from one of two great Nebraska Law faculty members. Your Torts professor will be Professor Beth Burkstrand-Reid (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/bburkstrand.shtml) or Professor Craig Lawson (http://law.unl.edu/facstaff/faculty/resident/clawson.shtml).
