Professor Kalish is the Margaret R. Larson Professor of Legal Ethics Emeritus, having joined the UNL faculty in 1971. While actively teaching here, he taught (among other things) legal history and legal profession. He also directed the Center for Teaching and Study of Applied Ethics. He is an expert on Clarence Darrow and this should be a fascinating talk, touching on professional responsibility (BYC: Identity), legal history (BYC: Intellectual & Cognitive), and advocacy (BYC: Communications).
Join the law community in welcoming back to campus a wonderful colleague.
