Nebraska Law participates each year in the Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference (MPILCC), which will be held on February 7, 2015 at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, IL.
Additional information regarding the Conference can be found at http://mpilcc.uchicago.edu/index.html.
Each year, the MPILCC Conference attracts nearly 50 employers for on-site interviews, Table Talk (an informal networking session), or resume solicitation. From over fifteen hundred student registrants, about 275 students representing almost 40 law schools typically attend the conference. Because participating law schools pay a registration fee, the conference is offered free to employers and students. Take advantage of this event to meet employers and potentially interview for public interest positions around the country.
If interested in attending, you MUST let the CSO know by December 3.
The CSO will need the following information from you. Your registration information can be emailed to lawcareer@unl.edu:
1) Student Last Name
2) Student Middle Initial or Middle Name
3) Student First Name
4) Email Address
5) Current Class Year (1L, 2L, or 3L)
6) Law School Name
7) Registered for this event last year? (yes or no)
Some students will register and submit “bids” on employers and make the decision to attend or not attend based on whether or not they received an invitation to interview. If you want to keep this opportunity open, you must register with the CSO by December 3rd.
