Tuesday, January 27th, Barbri will be hosting a lunch exclusively for 3L’s to provide you with information about Barbri and the upcoming summer Bar Exam. All 3L’s are invited, but the presentation will be most beneficial to those who are already committed to Barbri as well as those who have not yet committed to another bar prep course. Presenting at the lunch will be Bo Turney, Director of Legal Education for Barbri.
Bo graduated from law school in 2014 then completed Barbri over the summer, before passing the Kansas bar exam last July. He will be discussing the brand new Personalized Study Plan the Barbri Prep Course now offers, how it has been re-vamped to cover the UBE and the new material on the Bar Exam, as well as the new ability to self-study. In a nutshell, Bo will explain in plain terms how Barbri will help you OWN the bar in July!
More importantly, he will also give information on what to expect after we graduate including:
•How the Barbri course will be structured
•A suggested study schedule, which will give us an overall sense of just what our summer will look like as we prepare to take the Bar
•Information about the lectures which will take place over the summer at Nebraska Law (if you choose to attend vs. viewing on your own).
Additionally, he will provide advice on actually taking the Bar Exam, not just from an academic standpoint, but practical as well, for example rules enforced while taking the test and what the overall environment will be like in the room.
