Justice Jam
Thursday, October 29 4:30 – 6:00pm
Join the leaders from the Nebraska Public Interest legal community for a fun and casual event. Share a local brew while listening to these passionate attorneys share what justice means to them in five minutes or less! If you came to law school to make a difference, this event is for you!
The "Justice Jam!" idea was inspired by the "Conservation Jam" at the Great Plains Art Museum, and is similar to the law college STIR Talks. Several location attorneys will address the question: "What is 'justice'?" But there's a catch...they only have three minutes each.
You don't have to be an EJS member, and you don't even have to know what "public interest law" means - all students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. But you do have to RSVP in ROSCOE, and then come to the Student Lounge at 4:30pm on Thursday, October 29.
BYC KEYS: client and business relations, research and information gathering

There are opportunities coming up soon so mark your calendars and make sure to rsvp (most in ROSCOE but some directly). Please remember that these events are open to all 1Ls and will not be offered again in your 2L or 3L year. Even if you want to be a public interest or government lawyer, we highly encourage you to attend and learn more about the legal landscape in Nebraska. No matter what you want to do, building connections and legal networks is important. Take time to eat and learn!
