Justice Jam

Justice Jam
Thursday, October 29 4:30 – 6:00pm
Join the leaders from the Nebraska Public Interest legal community for a fun and casual event. Share a local brew while listening to these passionate attorneys share what justice means to them in five minutes or less! If you came to law school to make a difference, this event is for you!

The "Justice Jam!" idea was inspired by the "Conservation Jam" at the Great Plains Art Museum, and is similar to the law college STIR Talks. Several location attorneys will address the question: "What is 'justice'?" But there's a catch...they only have three minutes each. Speakers include:

Max Graves - CLIA
Joe Nigro – Lancaster County PD
Amy Miller - ACLU
Bri McClarty - NCR
Mindy Rush Chipman – JFON-NE
Milo Mumgaard – Legal Aid
Brian Craig – Disability Rights Nebraska

You don't have to be an EJS member, and you don't even have to know what "public interest law" means - all students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. But you do have to RSVP in ROSCOE, and then come to the Student Lounge at 4:30pm on Thursday, October 29.
