As the time approaches to register for summer and fall classes, you should be aware of three important pieces of information related to enrolling in any of the Clinics (excluding the Immigration Clinic).
First and foremost, the procedure for enrolling in Clinics has changed. Effective this spring, clinic lotteries will be conducted for the summer, fall and spring semesters. This is a change from the past, where lotteries were conducted only for the summer and fall semesters. If you are interested in taking a Clinic in the summer of 2016, the fall of 2016, or the spring of 2017, you must participate in the Clinic lottery process this spring.
Second, there will be an informational meeting in the Courtroom on Thursday, March 10, beginning at noon. At this meeting, the process for signing up for Clinics will be discussed, and general information about each of the Clinics will be presented. Clinic faculty and staff will be on hand to do brief presentations and answer questions about the Clinics and the new enrollment process. Pizza will be available until it is gone.
Third, the deadline for turning in Clinic applications will be Monday, April 4. Results of the Clinic lotteries will be announced on Friday, April 8.
