A few weeks ago I mentioned two new BNA resource centers we’ve added to our BNA subscription, The Internet Law Resource Center and The Telecommunication Law Center. I’d like to invite you to look at the BNA page on the library’s homepage (http://law.unl.edu/library) to see all the titles you now have access to. A complete list is available from the BNA link in the RESEARCH TOOLS box.
BNA publishes a variety of resources through this service including newsletters, analysis, and cases covering a wide range of topical areas. This electronic subscription also provides some additional features you may not be aware:
• In addition to searching for current information in any of the titles listed, many have archives going back 10 years or more.
• Email updates are available for many titles in those areas where your research is currently focused. If you are interested in receiving emails updates, just send me an email (splaczek2@unl.edu), tell me which titles you are interested in, and I’ll subscribe you to the service for those titles. Any time you’d like to unsubscribe, just send me another email and I will remove you from the service.
• Searching may be done in individual titles, topical centers, or almost all the titles simultaneously. To search through a broader selection of titles, select the “Search My BNA” link in the BNA Research Tools box in the upper left hand corner of the BNA page.
If you’d like more information on this service or individualized instruction, please feel free to contact me or any of the other reference librarians. We’d be happy to spend time with you and explain the service in more detail.
