Area high school students planning legal careers are seeking guidance from current law students. There are a variety of short term opportunities available to work with a high school student. The first event involves Justice Thomas’ decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008). Join Prof. Wilson on Wednesday, November 15 or Tuesday, November 21 on a short trip to Omaha Northwest to help high school students write their application for a trip to Washington D.C. to visit Justice Thomas. If interested, we will carpool and leave the law school at 2:15 PM and return by 6 PM — unless we stop for pizza. If interested, please send an email message to Prof. Catherine Wilson at catherine.wilson@unl.edu. Only the first three to four respondents for each time slot will be able to participate.
