Student Travel Grants to the 11th Annual UNL Washington, DC Space Law Conference

The NASA Nebraska Space Grant is offering selected University of Nebraska students an opportunity to defray the costs of attending the Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications Law’s annual conference in Washington D.C. on September 21 via $500 travel grants. Applications are due 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018. Details about the conference are available here: https://law.unl.edu/dc-conferences/. The day before the conference students will be visiting The National Telecommunications and Information Administration agency of the Department of Commerce and any students utilizing this opportunity are welcome to join that session (security requires 3-5 days to process visitor names, RSVPs are required).

The NASA Nebraska Space Grant office coordinating these travel grants and is selecting recipients. This process is not performed by program leadership here at the law school. We will work with selected students to coordinate travel, but ultimately it is up to the recipient to plan and book their travel in accordance with the $500 travel grant. LL.M. students and J.D. student researchers already receiving funding for this conference are not eligible.
