Rural Summer Legal Corps: Applications due February 11

The Rural Summer Legal Corps (RSLC) program will connect law students with different civil legal aid sites across the country this summer to address pressing legal issues facing rural communities. There are 30 positions available nationwide with a variety of legal aid organizations, including Legal Aid of Nebraska, which will be a hiring a fellow for the Lincoln office to work with the Housing Justice Project, and Iowa Legal Aid, which is offering the opportunity to work out of any of its ten regional offices, one of which is in Council Bluffs. Students will earn a $5000 stipend for the summer.

Each site has a different project focus and students can select up to three sites that they're interested in with one application.
