The University Libraries is announcing the Fall 2022 discussion topics for the Genealogy over Lunch sessions starting in September. All the speakers are volunteering to share their experience and knowledge while the topics appeal to both the beginner and experienced family historian.
The format of the programs will continue to be online, via Zoom, and the group will meet at 11:30 am on the third Thursdays of the month. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend these sessions.

• September 15 – Brett Bieber, director, Identity & Access Management, IT Security Services, will talk about features of the FamilySearch website and Family Tree app.
• October 20 – Gerilynn Murphy, UNO, will talk about the search for biological family and DNA testing as an adoptee.
• November 17 – Eva Bachman, director, Graduate Student Support, will talk about military records and Fold3.
• December 15 – Donald Weeks, Emeriti Faculty, will discuss using ProGenealogy Services and Y-DNA searches.
