A partnership between the Libraries and the Big Red Resilience and Well-Being Center brings therapy dogs to library locations twice a month for the Spring 2023 semester.

The Big Red Resilience and Well-Being Center is partnering with the University Libraries to bring university students monthly Big Red Pawp Up events. Every month, starting February 8, 12-1:30pm, in the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons Kimmel Foundation Room; and February 9, 12-1:30pm at Love Library South 221, the University Libraries will be hosting therapy dogs to help students de-stress and decompress from study stress.

“The Libraries are excited about the opportunity to partner more deeply with campus entities like the Big Red Resilience and Well-Being Center and are looking forward to acting as a location for these events on city and east campus,” said Regina Flowers, Learning Commons & Events Coordinator.

This partnership will encourage the well-being of all students and give students the opportunity to get up close and personal with these furry friends. For more information on these events times, dates, and more, check out the University Libraries calendar. We hope to see you there with us and these cute dogs starting February 8.
