Resource Updates
EBSCOhost Database Platform Interface Upgrade, January 2025
Starting January 7, 2025, UNL users will see a new face on familiar EBSCO databases such as Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, and others. EBSCO’s new interface has been redesigned with an updated look and enhanced usability, based on input from customer feedback, usage data, user research, and usability studies. A preview of the updated platform, featuring the same databases available via the old interface, is now available. EBSCO has provided a Quick Start Guide for more information about using the new interface.
Online Monthly Catalog of US Government Publications to be withdrawn December 31
The Monthly Catalog of US Government Publications, 1895-1976 will be retired by its current provider, Proquest (a division of Clarivate), on December 31, 2024. The database will not be available after that date. Some of the information provided by this resource will continue to be available (without comparable search functionality) via the U.S. Government Publishing Office's Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications site, and it is reported that the GPO plans to develop a search interface with comparable functionality to the ProQuest product, in the near future.
