We are excited to introduce two new event series designed to support students in unique and engaging ways. Whether you're looking for a relaxing break from studies or a supportive space to connect with peers, these events have something to offer.

Transfer Collective: Study, Connect, Succeed

The Transfer Collective is a new initiative specifically designed for transfer students, offering a space to study, collaborate, and gain access to valuable campus resources. Held on February 27, March 27, and April 24 from 11:30 AM to 2 PM in the Love Library South Witt Room (LS 224), these sessions create an inclusive environment where transfer students can work alongside peers while receiving support from Libraries staff and Transfer Peer Mentors from the Center for Academic Success and Transition. This is the perfect opportunity to focus on coursework, ask questions about academic resources, and network with other transfer students in a supportive space. Plus, Dunkin' Donuts coffee will be provided to keep you fueled during study sessions!

Calming Crafts: A Creative Escape

For students in need of a break or looking to tap into their creative side. Join us in the Love Library South Witt Room (LS 224) on Tuesday, April 1 from 3-5 PM, and again on May 6 from 3-5 PM, to unwind with a variety of craft stations. Explore button making, weaving, friendship bracelets, Perler beads, and more. This relaxing session is designed to help you de-stress, unwind, and connect with others in a laid-back atmosphere.

Both of these events offer students an opportunity to connect with others, relax, and engage with campus resources in a fun and inviting environment. Whether you're looking to craft or collaborate, UNL Libraries has something for everyone this semester!
