The Libraries invites all UNL undergraduate students to imagine and share their vision for the future of academic research libraries for a chance to win one of three visa gift cards and Libraries swag. The top prize gift card is valued at $350.
Using whatever creative format best communicates your vision, we want students to address the following prompt:
Explore your hopes, dreams, and sense of possibilities for how research libraries will evolve to support discovery, knowledge, and human connection in the years to come.
Enrolled undergraduates can enter this contest as individuals or part of a group. Use of UNL Libraries’ resources is encouraged. Entries may take any creative form. See the full list of possibilities in the submission guidelines.
Deadline to submit contest entries: February 1, 2026.
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of Libraries faculty and staff. Winners will be announced in mid-February.
This contest is part of the Pages to Paths: A Celebration of Our Libraries initiative to commemorate many important anniversaries and milestones including the 80th anniversary of Love Library.
